Alpha-blocker: Is a drug that can block alpha receptors and causes peripheral vasodilatation and decrease blood pressure. Type of alpha blocker drugs: Prasozin, Terasozin

Beta-blockers: Mechanism of action of beta blockers is not known with certainty. Is well-known drug Propranolol, Atenolol, Pidolol

Fasodilator: These drugs may directly develop arteriole wall that reduced peripheral vascular resistance and decreased blood pressure. Drugs of this type is Hidralazine, Ecarazine.

Antagonist Kalsinum: Is to inhibit the entry of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells to the effects of vasodilation and decrease blood pressure and the type is veratamil Nifedipine.

ACE inhibitors: This ACE inhibitors lower blood pressure by inhibiting angiotensin converting Vasoconstriksi Enzime a powerful force. This type of drug is Capoten and captopril and enalapril.

Drugs commonly used include the class of diuretics, beta blockers, calcium channel blcker, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor blockers, alpha blockers, adrenergic inhibitors and vasodilators
