Basically the prevention of a disease much easier than treatment of disease. Process we will make dete'51 prevention and intervention on the causes and risk factors of disease. Meaning itself is to make prevention of inhibition on the development of a disease before the disease occurs.
Level of disease prevention are:
Primary prevention (primary prevention): Levels of prevention can be done on the phase sensitivity of the natural history of a disease.
Secondary prevention (secondary prevention): Levels of prevention can be done in phases and clinical perklinik
Tertiary prevention (tertiary prevention): Levels of prevention can be done at an advanced stage of disease or disability.
Primary prevention
Primary prevention consists of two categories, namely:
a. Improvement of health (Health Promotion)
Included here are:
- Improved nutrition community
- Improved housing conditions and recreation
- Health education including sex education and sanitation
b. Specific prevention (specific protection)
Included here are:
- Immunizations
- Purification of drinking water
- Prevention of accidents
- Setting the (diet) and exercise.
In the implementation of primary prevention is influenced by the attitudes of individuals and the environment.
